Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has approved an important initiative for persons with disabilities (PWDs) in Punjab: the Himmat Card. This program will provide quarterly allowance to individuals with disabilities, helping them lead more independent lives.
Rs 10,500 Quarterly Stipend Via Himmat Card
Under this scheme, beneficiaries will receive Rs 10,500 per quarter. These funds are intended to ease financial burdens and allow recipients to meet their daily needs without relying on others. Distribution of payments will begin on September 15 through the Bank of Punjab. Approximately 65,000 individuals will receive ATM cards for easy access to their stipends. The first phase will focus on 40,000 recipients, followed by an additional 25,000 in the second phase.

Eligibility Requirements
If you want to qualify for the Himmat Card, you must follow these four points:
- Applicants must be permanent residents of Punjab.
- They need a NADRA-issued Disability Identity Card and a disability certificate.
- Their PMT score should be below 40, as per the NSER survey.
- They must not already receive aid from other government programs like Bait-ul-Mal.
Registration Process
Registration is open, and applicants can confirm their eligibility through an online portal by entering their details. Following a free medical check-up, eligible individuals will receive their Himmat Card from the Bank of Punjab. Those unable to register online can call the helpline at 1312 for any queries or assistance.

How to Withdraw Payment
With the Himmat Card, withdrawing funds is straightforward. Beneficiaries can use any Bank of Punjab ATM to check their balance and withdraw money. Cash assistance is also available from bank representatives if needed.
